Juvenile Sexual Offender
As a juvenile and under Kansas law, an offender who is adjudicated of a sexual violent crime (i.e. rape, indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy, etc), is defined as an “offender” under the Kansas Offender Registration Act, and must thus register as an “offender” with the state. According to the Registration Act, if a juvenile, or any other registered offender, violates the act, they will be charged with a person felony.
